THERE'S A PUBLISHER SHE SAYS IN THE NEW YEAR...IT'S NEVER IN THIS YEAR

What it is peoples. Florida was fun as hell. Friday I took a very bumpy plane ride down and Steph's dad picked me up. Upon arriving at her house her folks crazy dog did not try to kill therefore thereby endearing me to the entire family. That night her dad BBQ'd us some food and we passed out. Saturday we slept and that night went to the Cheesecake Factory. Yum. Sunday was Christmas Eve and since this was my first Christmas NOT spent with my folks in NJ I celebrated the only way I could by going swimming. Hope you suckers enjoyed freezing your asses off up north. That night we went over to Steph's cousin's house for Christmas Eve diner. Her whole family was there and I got to meet her godchild Riley who called me a "tall weirdo" thereby endearing me to ALL her family. Monday was Christmas day and we all opened presents. Her parents got me some pajamas and mom and dad sent down some underwear and socks which, these days, are MUCH appreciated. They also got us tickets to the Lion King for the end of Januray so we're going to that. We then went to Dave and Busters for dinner where we ate and played Deer Hunter 2 until it was time to go to the movies. Her family opted for Rocky which ...uh..sucked. Sylvester Stallone should not talk for longer than 10 seconds. There should be a law. Tuesday we just hung around and recovered. Wednesday was Steph's brothers birthday so her dad took us al to the shooting range. I hadn't fired a gun in years and even then it was just .22's for a scout merit badge. Her dad had a huge high powered rifle which nearly tore my arm off when I shot it and a .45 magnum which made me feel like an NWA song when I fired it but they wouldn't let me hold it sideways. Oh well. Thursday we used the christmas money my grandmother gave Stephanie and myself to go to Islands of Adventure with her brother. Oh, I failed to mention that her parents had rented us a car to use while we were down since both their cars were out of comission. We drove 3 hours up to Orlando and though I was slightly under the weather IOA still ruled. There were huge lines but we still rode on everything. The hulk coaster may be the best roller coaster in existence and the Spider-Man ride totally lived up to the hype. Friday we again chilled and Stephanie and I had diner at her grandparents house who made this huge ass dinner which ruled. Then we hung out with her freind Eric and went to the beach late at night. Saturday we were up early as Stephanie's OTHER godchild , little baby Brody, was being baptized in a church about an hour from her folks house. After the baptism we had lunch in a building next to the church. Sunday was new years eve and we went to Steph's friend Joanne's house to hang out because she was getting pneumonia and consequently, couldn't hang out the entire time we were down there. Boo. It was a relaxing new years eve and when 2007 happened, we barely noticed. Monday and Tuesday we hung out, did some shopping, went swimming and etuened the car. Wednesday was out flight back which we barely made due to the incompetence of the Spirit Airlines staff down there. Our flight was fine (I got buzzed on Jack and Cokes)but our luggage ended up on a later flight so we had to sit in laguardia for 2 more hours. Ugh. When we finally got home we met up with Chadd and Carla (Carla was housesitting for us while we were away) then the two of us went to the Bel Aire for a huge dinner before it was right to sleep.

This month I'm off of class (last semester I got 3 A's and a B+ in statistics ((??!!)) so I'm working 4 days out of 5 as well as studying for the GRE's which I hope to take in February. Fun. Laters.
